ABBA did 5 concerts in Perth
unheard of in this hick town
most of the big acts by-pass us and head str8
for the east coast of Australia ...

When I found out they where coming
I guilted my father into buying me tickets
did such a good job he got me tickets to each show ...

2 Shows on a Thursday 6pm and 9pm ...
the 6 pm show was great ... everyone got evacuated
because of a bomb threat LOL
1 Show on Friday night 8pm
2 Shows on Saturday 3pm and 8.30pm

To be honest I don't really remember much about them,
and if it wasn't for the ticket stubs & the host of ABBA
memorablia I have I wouldn't remember anything LOL
I remember that Agnetha & Frida wore the pussy cat dresses,
the tickest cost $9 ... and Fernando was met with thousands of
sparklers being waved in the air LOL

I remember my brother being pissed at me cause he had
to take me to the Thursday concerts (ABBA was not his cup of tea)
The Friday night I went with the next door neighbors ... and
Saturday I went with the adopted sisters LOL

Ratt - 85' First concert with my Brother, they sucked but it was my first concert and I was with my Brother.

Metallica 3 times, just amazing

Iron Maiden 2 times, I kept asking my brother if they were going to play "Number of the Beast" and he kept saying of course, but I didn't believe him until they did

Queensryche - "operation mindcrime" the whole album is a story, first time they headlined. Loved every minute

All time favorite was Twisted Sister "We're not gonna take it, NO we ain't gonna take it" lol Isn't that Jarrad's Icon? lol

Biggest letdown was White Zombie, they where horrible, they were so bad I couldn't even recognize half the songs they were playing, just noise.

Gavin! Major concert jealousy here. I would kill to see ABBA!!

I have been to:

• Jars of Clay (one of my all-time favourite bands)
  This was held in a church in Chilliwack BC. Me and a bunch of friends went and afterwards there was a 'chat' happening with the band at a Chilliwack book store. We went to that too, my best friend won a prize pack of 5 CD's and he got to go up and shake the hands of the band. I think I'm still jealous of that. lol
• Chantal Kreviazuk
  Before she sold her self out to advertising and shitty music, she held a very nice intimate concert in a nearby performing arts centre. I had perfect seats. It was a perfect evening.
• Our Lady Peace
  In General Motors Place, Vancouver BC. Loved this concert and it left me deaf and blind. Needless to say, the skytrain ride afterwards was quite interesting. My wife, less than 1' away from me would yell "I CANT HEAR YOU.", I would reply, "WHAT???". Fantastic. Anyways OLP really rocked it out and put on a fantastic show. Finger Eleven and the Trailer Park Boys opened for them -- can't say either of those acts were appreciated.
• Jann Arden
  Her concerts are apparently filled with hilarious banter with the audience. The one I went to was sadly short & to the point... I don't know if I'd hit another Jann Arden concert.
• Matthew Good
  If you don't know who this guy is, check out his music. He is a truly talented songwriter. His music has an incredible depth to it, and that very much comes across when he is live in concert. His concerts are just him and his guitar on stage. No cinematics, just raw... His unique album sound comes across crystal clear with every note where it should be. I will definitely go again if given the chance.

So that's my extensive list. Kinda Canadian, don't ya think?
