Every now and again it's important to lighten things up a bit and remind oursleves that even superheros (which any survivor is in my book) get brought down to earth by mundane complaints.

This thread is meant to be a place to bitch, moan, complain, or whinge about anything you need to get off your chest that has nothing to do with recovery, abuse, or trauma at all.

For instance:

My ankle really f-ing hurts right now. I have no idea what, if anything I did to it, but it's driving me batty.

Next?

was thinking about that thread, about games people play

so thought i would liven things up a bit
put together this pin-hole camera set i bought ages ago
(finished work at 10pm so it is clearly a crazy unthought out midnight idea)
i set up a dark room (my bathroom)
cut my thumb in work today (paper cut)
didn't bother to wear the safety gloves (couldn't turn the pages of the instructions)
lost my tweezers for a second
decided to use my hand
forgot about the cut on my thumb
ouch!
lol
i couldn't get the photos to work so i've labeled it an exposure test lol
should have worn gloves when playing with chemicals lol
i have orange fingertips now

I went to reach for my control today cause it's half way across the room and before i even get up from my bed, my control just flys over in my direction and hit's me in the head, while scaring me at the same time.

Nice idea Chris. appologies that mine is a litle recovery related.

My downstairs neighbors are complaining about the noise from my flat late at night. It's not music, or films, it's (horror of horrors!), the sound of me walking! around! oooooh no, how evil I am! I've attempted levitation but unfortunately just can't seem to get it.

In fairness, my neighbors also complained about the man next door having a dangerous and terrifying dog, ----- and I have to admit it is a most ferocious and wild poodle, so obviously they are people of sound judgement and reasonable thinking.

I hate that! My wife works at home, so she eats all the left overs for lunch and I almost never get any!

The funny bone on my left elbow feels like I banged it on something and my arm tingles all the way down to my hand and involves my pinky and the finger next to it. It's just plain annoying. Been like that for a couple days. Arrrrggghhhhh!

handle a straight coke again ...
