sister pain, what did you gain by playing with me
again and again ?

was it fun ? was it satisfynig ? to get your sexual kicks
while part of me was dying.

sister pain, it all seems to have been in vain.

you should have been interested in someone more your age,
but you chose me instead
i guess you needed to control what happened
on your stage.

you took for me. you stole from me. you killed a part of me.
and now the time has come in my life where i need to be set free.

i am strong, i am good and i am a moral man
i have an angel who tells me everyday, you see
she is truly my biggest fan

but i can't love her the way she needs
because of what you've done to me
and when she looks in my eyes
i'm not quite sure what she sees

i'm not running anymore,
i'll be standing here right at your door,
i'm here to settle that old score,
sister pain, sister pain, i'm not playing anymore.

KW,

Good for you! One of the big tasks we have as survivors is to let the abuser know that we aren't "playing anymore", that we are determined to keep him or her from controlling how we live and think.

Much love,
Larry
