Did i scream at the world
or am i still screaming inside these empty corridors of the mind

I see the faces sitting behind the lights enjoying the show
Hooded eyes bright with dark lights of desire
Cameras eye showing me to the unknown world

Closed mind to the journey of hands
cold to the touch like meat in a butchers shop window

The rustle of money changing hands
the nameless one shedding his clothes like a snakes skin
Taking the place of the one before

battered and bruised my mind sinks lower
Detached from the pain of the shell of my body

Did i scream i cant hear
Is this pain i cant feel

sleep of the waking copy of my lost childhood dreams
shattered on the white bed of lights

sitting on the chairs hidden by the gloom
expectant minds of black imagination
eager to enter the realm of white light

drugs of obedience coursing through my veins
invisible chains holding me down

unmoving unfeeling i wait for the show to begin again

Ben,

Those are terrible memories and I know I can't begin to imagine how you have been hurt by them. I'm just glad you can let them out. Once we can talk about them they already begin to lose their power over us.

Much love,
Larry

Ben,

It IS true. Right now talking about things seems like a huge risk because you have so much to talk about. But has anyone ever judged you here? Look at the people who stand by you. You CAN do this. I mean, heck, Bruno even let you throw his fencepost! \:\)

Much love,
Larry
