Hi.
I've noticed that there are a certain number of abbreviations people use here for things which I don't know.
i've worked out that a therapist is a t, and what Csa means, but I've seen others such as mb which i don't understand, ---- are these in any way official, and if so is there a list?
then again though, sinse certain words and terminology, ---- -like the S word bother me, would it be better for me not to know some of these.
Any thoughts or information about this would be much appreciated.

As far as I know there is nothing official, I think it just a part of the internet/chat/texting culture. There have been some abbreviations that have stumped me too, fortunately I have figured most of them out.
Just a thought, I think from now on I will post when I don't understand an abbreviation, that way we can all learn! Thanks for a great question!
Peace and Love David

I have to say I'm not an expert,
But if you have some that you are not sure about, just post them here and I am sure you'll get an answer.
Luv ya, Carl

I do not know most them, except some basic 'chat' ones I seen over the last few years.

Hey guys, I think this might be good time to start a list, don't you?
Does a mod want to take the lead?

I've got an idea here that may be of some use to those of us who come behind us.
I'll start per Mike's suggestion by entering some of the ones many of us who've been here a while understand. The rest of you can add what you think may be pertinent and one of us can compile them and make a sticky at some point.
T = Therapist SA = Sexual Abuse CSA = Childhood Sexual Abuse MB = Masturbation P&M = Porn and Masturbation IRL = In Real Life (((user name))) = Hugs
