I posted a new video on youtube for my organization, (Wo)Men Speak Out. We are advocates for survivors of abuse. If you have a moment, have a watch. I hope you like it.

Chris, that was very moving. Made me cry again, What doesn't lately but that was great and you did a good job of that. The message it really good and I am glad others will see it. Thanks for your courage and talent to help spread the awareness. So many people wear those damn little ribbons for causes. I think we should have small pictures of us as kids to wear. We need to put faces on the causes. No more symbolism without substance. We need substance. Action. Education of T on how to help victims. I was afraid I was ending up the poster child for CSA in my area but I think now that is a good thing if it helps save kids from this. Thanks again. sorry bout the typos, Hard to see with tears.

Thanks Freedom. I am glad you got something out of it. It took me some time to put it together, and of course it can be hard working on anything having to do with my abuse.

I agree. That's what my organization is all about. People need to see faces. It isn't as easy to ignore a face, especially when they are one's we know.

Chris,

I really thought that was very good, it is completley different to the other videos that are out there, you bring the veiwer into your world and show them the pain we all feel so much without anyone being able to see it on the outside.

Thank you...

Wow; they say a picture tells a thousand words. Chris I could identify with that video clip so much. It certainly sent an arrow in my heart. Had to go in the bathroom and cry for a while so my wife couldn't see me. Didn't want to upset her in the that moment that flashed so many hurting memories of my past wretched hell.
Chris; this short film belongs in a box office like Empire Theaters or Famous Players Cinema and shown as an advertisement before movies are aired throughout both countries in the United States and Canada. Even if it touches one person at a movie theater it will have sent it's implied message. YES MALE RAPE VICTIMS DO EXIST. And yes we do live in anguishing pain. Sadly we often live in a desensitized and stereotyped society that shuns and ignore these facts. This short film is a wake-up call whereby the public gets educated. It's not only visualized but the very message contained within touches the very fabric of the subconscious. Chris; this is a touching great film clip and I want to sincerely congratulate you for putting it out.
P.S. I'm not sure if you ever considered at this point of putting this film clip out to a wider audience. However; I'm sure there are federal agencies and interest groups on both sides of the border that could fully support the financial aspect of this endeavor. At any rate I would be at your disposal should ever consider going that route. I can think of a few places in Canada that might be of assistance.
Anyways I want to Thank You again for the great clip.
It certainly hit a spot in my heart.

Thank you Irish Guy and jcf! We want to reach as many survivors as we can. We are in the process of becoming a non-profit and hope to access some grants to get the message out there. I think having PSA's like this in theaters or on TV would be a great victory for survivors.

Chris, my wife Ophelia is from Toronto and we'd definitely be interested in any resources you know of. She organized the first Walk A Mile Her Shoes event in Canada.

It'd be great collaborating to reach a wider audience. My email is menspeakout@gmail.com Cheers.

Thank you for doing this!

This video/collection is very powerful to me. I esspecially resonated with the part, "You pass me every day...and you don't knoe that I am a survivor.

sincerely
