Well, kind of a dark poem I wrote, awfully heavy stuff contained herein, so be warned it is dark and heavy,I don't want to trigger anyone, so please exercise caution as the poem begins.

Peace to all,
Poet24

Into the Night

Into the night
Fighting the fright
Where the heart has no might
I fall to my knees
Please set me free
For God does not see

Red is the river
Which makes my heart shiver
At the devilís sliver
Pain is all I know
The pendulum swings to and fro
And a blade cuts the bow
That ties happiness
For terror, no less
Seems to impress

The birds fly high
And my soul cries
While hell is nigh
I bow my head
Afraid to be led
For I am already dead

The fear is new
To love I flew
But I was slew
The flowers wither
And darkness comes hither
The snake doth slither

I fail to fight
And see no light
As I slip into the night

Your right that is dark and sad and a point in your life. But nature renews each spring. That which dies in the fall can grow again.
So here you are, you haven't bloomed yet, have not even budded. But you here, so the moist soil around your soul is beginning to warm the seed of your renewal. Hang in there. Let it happen. The sun had not quit shining, you just won't see it till you break ground.
Hoping for your groundbreaking soon

Poet24,

Yes, rather dark. But wherever we are, those are the feelings we have to own and start with. I'm glad you are doing that. It does get better, my friend.

Much love,
Larry
