Here is the verse from the Bible;

Matthew 18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Getting in touch with my inner child and trying to become childlike again, i.e. playing, trusting, looking forward to the future, loving life ect. is the key to a happy life so this inner child work is profound in my opinion.

Do you think inner child work ties in with the verse from the Bible?

Yes, John as does Love your neighbor as yourself. If you are filled with self hate you are going to have a tough time loving or even putting up with your neighbor.

I don't know much about religion, but i know developing and appeasing your inner child is important, infact i think that is probably one of the most important things in recovery

I did some more work this morning, cried again. I have only cried about the CSA three times in my life, two of those times have been in the last two days doing the inner child work.

I think it is one of the most amazing things I have done for myself.

I think I am going to turn my codependent side over to taking care of him instead of trying to control the free world, lol.

I have not cried so much in all of my life, it's so liberating, crying now, lol.
