why when you are sick and go to emergency to be seen, the first question they ask is 'how are you today'? Oh me? I am just fine, there just isn't any movies playing I want to see, so I think to come in here instead. Uck.

They just don't think.

Sometimes they say "What brings you here today?". I always want to say, "The bus, or I rode my horse in."

But anyway, are you OK? I guess you are back safely from the emergency if you can write about it now? I hope it was not serious.

Hey, Andrei --

I won't ask, "How are you today," but please let us know what's happened when you can.

In an emergency room, I found that saying, "I'm sorry--I seem to be bleeding on your desk" got me in pretty fast.

Am ok, just been sick and not getting better. after first they try to kill me (I know now I am allergic to a antibiotic), I am doing much better now, been 'sweating it out', less fever, and maybe be feeling better by tomorrow.

Andrei, I am glad you are doing better. I hope you have
gotten even better since your last post.

People say the oddest things at the oddest times
- When my mother died - the funeral Director came up to my sister and me - We were in tears at the time - He looked at us and said "Howdy!" (like a cowboy with a smile on his face.)

We had no idea what to say except "let's get on with this."

I think sometimes people say just strange things.
