hey men
here is an opportunity to pat ourselves on the back for one thing we did well today
could be something simple or something monumental
i did a great job of walking up to the 7-11 in the fresh snow to get a hot chocolate making goofy footprints by jumping backwards, hopping on 1 foot etc

Saw my doctor today (always uncomfortable) for my annual (over 2yrs) checkup. Was finally honest with him about my emotional state and how it is affecting my phycial state. He wants me to see another T and I agreed to go at least once. Personally don't think I need this, but whatever. I am trying to be compliant for a change.

Ineffable,
Welcome to MS, I am so glad you have found us, but I'm also sorry you need this site.
You have found a great and safe place. I also think this first thread you have started, shows a lot about your outlook on life. BRAVO!!!
Now, onto your topic.
I closed two deals today. (yeah I'm a salesman) I made 5 sales calls and landed two new clients. 40%..... yeah!!!!!!
Thanks for this...we all need to stroke our own egos sometimes.
Again welcome, Carl

I gave $25.00 I found on the stairs at work to the person that lost it.
I let a person who suffers from PTSD at work know that they are not alone.
I lent an ear to a friend who's house got broken into and they stole her late moms jewelry and cleaned out her medicine cabinet. I taught a person how to use remote desktop in Windos XP
I fixed my car.

I worked, went to the interview with a roof builder company, and I had a nice lunch. As long as my day is not yet over, I am going to install a chat room at my site.
Thanks. Good post.
Alexey

I am chuffed with myself today LOL One of my co-workers left for greener pastures today, as per office protocol there was a sendoff lunch. Normally any sort of social occasion with more people present than I can handle will freak me out - in fact prewarned of these situations I will take the day off work LOL But today I was able to stay in the room (although at a comfortable distance) and enjoy the other guys doing what normal guys do - have a drink, talk crap etc - without having the overwhelming urge to run away.

I apologized apparently well today. It is getting to be a skill. I seem to be getting lots of practice.
