Ive never talked about this before, but I found this site and Im ready to let it go. I was abused by my mother. She took it hard when she and my dad divorced. We were alone and I guess she took it out on me. She would whip me for every little thing, usually in front of others. I was always so humiliated. She would and still does tell everyone stories of how she beat me. And people just laugh it off. How can people let that happen. When I was 12, my stepdad split too. Mom again started taking it out on me. This time though, she started abusing me sexually too. During and after a whipping she would lightly brush my sensitive areas, as if by accident, but in a way that produced an erection. Then she would berate me for liking the punishment, make fun of my size. She did this until my late teens, then just stopped. Ive spent my life being beaten and humiliated.

It is hard to love a mother who is supposed to love and protect you when she treats you like that. You have to know a that there was nothing wrong with you. She was a damaged and broken person who did not know how to cope. She didn't see you she saw all her frustration. Your ok guy. What she told you by treating you that way is a lie. Don't listen. Stay with us here and heal a while. You will find friends here with similar stories.

I also want to welcome you here to MS, and say I'm so sorry a place like this has to exist. BUT, I am so glad we are here to help each other. Pull up a comfortable chair, grab a Pepsi, and stay a while.
You will find many kind and helpful guys, just waiting to let you lean on them. Take your time, and post as you want, but please read and believe that many guys here will understand.
