I would highly recommend attending an MOR. I've been working thourgh my CSA for about 2 years now and attending the WOR in October 07 helped push my recovery to the next level. My wife expressed that my demeanor and spirit had changed when I got back from my trip. I will definately attend the next Advanced WOR.

Good luck on your recovery. Feel free to send me a note if you have questions.

I just attended one last march. My wife noticed and immediate difference. I was so much more relaxed and less stressed. I would highly recommend it. It was like 4 years of therapy in 3 days. I came back with a huge weight lifted from my heart and a bunch of really great friends that I will probably have for life. I would say do it as soon as you can and you will never regret it.

Can anyone write up a big testimonial about all this? I want to attend one, but my wife hates the idea. Hates spending the money, thinks it's a waste of time, she'd rather have me home with her. I want to go, but if her mindset doesn't change, it'll never happen, as it'll be a big hassle all the way and then her being pissed off will be on my mind the whole weekend, which I'm sure will hinder the whole thing, so why bother spending the time and cash?

Lynch,

There are some really good articles in the Newsletter regarding the WoR's, You can find it on the Homepage.

I also attended the WoR at Sequoia last month. It would be my wish and hope that every survivor could attend. The therapy and healing I received would have taken me years by myself. I would definitely recommend it.

Ken

i used to say "next year" all the time
this time i said "for me"
i'm headed to PA in October

assuming i pass the phone interview, of course

...

point being - find a way to make it happen. you deserve it
(and i can say this without even having gotten to my first one yet)

Even today I was saying I had no intention of going to a WoR but now my mind is thinking and wondering if I dare even try. Which would mean brining it up to my wife..... and looking for assistance, because I'm flat broke and a month behind on bills :-(

i got the usual arguments from my wife this time - same ones from last year. but when she got to the point "whatever you want then" - which is where i always ALWAYS back down ... this time I said "kewl - I'm goin to PA."

i sure hope this weekend is worth what some of us go thru to get there...
