So here I sit at work and I have just checked the status of a request for technical support that I put through our software vendor's website.

When they respond to the request they send out an email with a ticket number and password to use to check on the status.

I put in the request early this morning so I thought I'd check the site and see what's happening. When I logged on to the site I noticed that my request has been classified as a "Low" priority.

For some reason, just seeing that makes me angry. I mean, I know they have other requests to work on, and not every request is going to be handled as "High" or "Medium" priorities. But just seeing my request labeled as "Low" priority rubs me the wrong way.

I don't know why I'm getting so worked up over such a minor thing.

You probably are bothered because all your life you've felt like your needs didn't matter. Someone else's needs (your abusers) were more important.
