Now you need to go buy yourself some presents. You do have more Christmas Holiday Cheer than me. Good for you.. Must say that this year I can't wait for the Holidays to be over and done. No celebrating for me this year. I'm up to my ears in crap going on in my life. One thing for sure though, things can only get better.

Hope you are enjoying your tree. you going to post a pic after you get it fully decorated?
don't forget the water I think there is also some stuff you can add to the water to help make it last longer just google Live Christmas tree care and I'm sure you'll get more than enough info.
Tree fires are the most common cause of fires this time of year because people forget to water them and they dry out.

gate haha yeah i dont have any other decorations. so its done. i enjoy it even if its bald. and yep. im watering it. (trust me, everyone is reminding me of that.) haha and i added sugar to the water which makes the sap stickier with keeps the needles on longer. so im good. phew.

Watch out for that sugar water, it tends to go bad and then it smells like someone barfed under your tree.

Jarrad, it's been a long time since I had a live tree, but they sure smell good. A botanist I once knew said the best things to add to the water are 1. a tsp of bleach (it opens the pores and allows more water to soak in), and 2. a couple of asprin tablets. He wasn't too clear on why the aspirin help, but it seems to me that it might at least make the tree feel better about having it's feet cut off... LOL
