Sorry for your sadness, Steve, and I can identify with that intense feeling. You might try to establish a "new tradition" for T-giving and other holidays. It may be something your 'lost child' wished they had or could do when they were younger. In my neck of the woods it would be go to the Philadelphia or NYC Macy's Thanksgiving Parades. I'm sure your 'lost child' wanted to do something special on a holiday! Good luck!! Thinking about you and sending great thoughts your way!!

I really like Howard's idea. Why not dedicate Thanksgiving as a day to do something really special for Little Steve? Begin tomorrow or the weekend even! Would you be up to discussing ideas?
