yes, yes, i know there are many stickies already in use - however, something just occurred to me about "new arrivals" in fnf - how often, probably most of the time, it's a crisis situation that brings someone to the board in the first place.

how about a sticky which explains and introduces the friends and family section? sort of a "welcome, please hang out, read and post at your own pace" kind of message?" as well as a little info about "you aren't alone" who exactly the fnf forum is for etc.

i know i posted on a couple of boards when i first arrived and ms was the first one to respond - i really didn't know what to expect, fortunately this was the right place to be -

considering how few resources are out there for male survivors there are even LESS out there for fnf - which makes this forum even more valuable.

just a suggestion

I like it, what would you want it to say?

well, first of all, how about a general "Welcome" and "If it's your first time here"

that could just be the title - as for what all to say, I'll post a topic over in fnf and let's get some feedback from the others as well, ok?

thanks for your support!

Hey there Nathan,

can you get our sticky up over at FNF? we're getting more and more newbies all the time.

Thanks!

Indy,

I'll raise this in the Mod Forum. Sounds like a great idea!

Much love,
Larry

The sticky post is now up and running. We tried to keep all your comments as something that was specifically from you, the contributers, rather than something that sounded clinical and impersonal.

Other than a little cleaning up for the purpose of clarity it's pretty much as you guys wrote it. Thanks for all the contributions, and thanks to indygal for the suggestion and doing the compilation.

Hope it serves the purpose.
