But, if we are still acting 'because' of them, one way or other, they still are having control. The perpetrator should not really have impact on whether you forgive or not, or anything else in our lives. Andrei

You're right, of course- I'm just emotionally not there yet; i'm still trying to let myself be angry at my perp instead of myself. There's still plenty my head knows is true, but that my heart hasn't accepted yet. Bear w/ me good people, i'll get there someday...

Andrei You Hit the nail right on the head. It is amazing how much this was showing thru the first time I told the story about one of my perps to my T It was really amazing. I just wish I could turn the tear ducts back on because I know its ok to cry it just does not happen for me yet.
