Gary,

Don't give a perp, or multiple perps, the final victory. Keep trying because someday you'll get through this and be stronger for it.

Thanks to the words of encouragement, i am very depressed and have been for a couple of weeks, to the point of ruining relationships and making life miserable for me and everyone around me.
It just seems pointless to continue to try to clamb this hill much longer, its turning into a mountain.
I have a T session on the 20th, and if that doesn't help, well i guess to hell with it. Iv'e never felt so alone in my life, and alone sucks,
thanks again for you responses and i will re read them again

Gary,
I had a best friend with that name when I was 8 to 11. Your name invokes fond memories, Gary.
I'm sorry you're feeling all alone. I can even be in a room full of people and feel like that sometimes. Who the hell understands, anyway? How the hell could anyone understand the pain and sorrow and aloneness?
Gary, I noticed that you live in Washington. I'm assuming that is the state of WA, not DC, right?
Where do you live from Portland?
Do you ever have any reason to come to Portland?
We should set up somekind of gathering with the guys from WA and the guys from OR. Would you come? You know, just the guys from Survivor. Guys that know what it's like. Guys like here. Guys that support one another.
We could stay in a motel and arrange for a meeting room. I used to belong to a group of writers and I arranged a convention for them. Most places will comp a meeting room when the guests stay at the same motel/hotel. What do you think? Do you want to work on that idea with me? I'll bet we could get Rick to come. We could ask him anyway. Maybe we could check with the other guys to see who lives in WA and OR. This doesn't have to be a big overblown affair, just three or four, or a couple more, if they are interested. What do you say? Where would half way be for you, from here, Portland?
David

Gary,
I know depression very well as you do. It seems that those who use more air-time here get more attention, but what about those of us who suffer alone and don't speak out and don't say anything? There are many who fear rejection, criticism, and fear getting hurt more so they don't speak out on their own behalf. Those people deserve just as much if not more support. Most of the time I have seen you supporting others, and trying to help. I rarely remember you speaking out and asking for help. I hear you now. I want you to know you have my support and if you ever need to talk you can count on me. There are some who are so depressed, that they just can't talk to people. I have that problem. It's rotten and it stinks.
Gary you have helped many here, and you have helped me. You have worth. Good luck on your appointment and keep fighting! You can do it.
And don't let the Buzzards get you down.

I just have a lot to figure out, and not much of it is positive.
thanks for your responce, i could not PM you becuse the people in charge have taken away that priviledge from me for some reason
