Hi,
I'm sorry. These problems aren't little problems. Why is it that people don't take things seriously until it's almost too late? They minimize what you know is really hurting, what doesn't stop hurting, and act like it's your fault. Damn it, it's not your fault! As if you don't have a right to feel whatever you feel -- happy, sad, depressed, angry, 'on edge', anxious, fearful, or even at peace with your life (though this sometimes seems rare). I agree with Brian. We need more caring people in this world. I only hope, through my words and actions, to be one of them.

I registered with a doctor yesterday, so i phoned for an appointment today, i told the receptionist a bit about it and said it was also about sorting out meds to help me sleep, and to calm me down, i also told her that i wanted to see a doctor about my feelings towards not being safe, and inpatient care. She said as that is not an emergency and they have a doctor off sick, im to phone back on friday morning.
Oh the fucking joys of the NHS.....!!!!!!!!

Backspin,
Yes, I have had those feelings about the NHS too, but hang in there. It's really difficult for a survivor to ask for what he needs sometimes, but you are doing that and getting used to the idea that you have the right to be heard and helped. I hope it all goes well for you on Friday.
Much love, Larry

Excuse my ignorance...whats NHS??? I know your overseas...maybe I am just not connecting something.
Seems like they aren't giving this the proper importance...this is really important!

Brian
The National Health Service, we pay high taxes to keep this monster running.
Then we stand in lines of up to 100 people trying to find a dentist, most have to go private or go without.
Then we spend months or years finding a doctor and then we can only get a appointment on the same day
Our hospitals are a disgrace, goverment report states: Incompetent management Dirty hospitals not enough nurses Lack of medical training shortage of beds
The list goes on, oh what fun to pay for all this....
Then we have the problem of being one of the countrys with the highest rates of super bug deaths.
Ben.
