I still have all my old comic books, they seemed to be the only thing I held onto throughout all the moves. Worth a pretty penny now but they sure mean much more than that. Spidey, X-men, Thor, but number one was Iron Man, aint nothing could touch him in that armor and it seemed like it could be a possibility to build a suit of armor that no one could penetrate. Kinda did build a suit of armor in my head I guess lol. Thunder, thunder, thunder cats hooooooooooooooo! Mike

Jarrad, One of my wife's fantasies as a child was that she would be playing tennis, and Gene Kelly would come up to her and say, "I can tell by the way you play tennis, you're a dancer!" - Had to propose after I heard that!
Mike, my best friend growing up had all the Spiderman comics in little plastic sleeves, all in order. One day I started to take one out to read it, and he actually flew across the room and grabbed it out of my hands... "One day these will be worth a FORTUNE" he screamed at me. I asked him who would buy them, and he said "I would NEVER sell them!"
Do you ever take them out and read them?
Dan

Hey No it's been years since I've read any of them but on occasion I'll pull them out and go through them looking at the covers. I've read them all a hundred times so just looking at the covers brings back the stories from each one. I have one Iron Man comic that has Iron Man's armor stripped from him by the Molecule man, I mean the guy controls Molecule's, that's not a fair fight. The comic still disturbs me to this day, felt so vulnerable after reading that one lol. I'd probably do the same thing as your friend Dan if you took one of my comic's out of it's bag Staying strong like Iron Man Mike

There was a comic book store in Downtown Denver... very close to the capital building, and we would take the city bus down there on Saturdays... My friend would almost shake with excitment in that store... I think it closed down... reminded me very much of the "Comic Book Guy" scenes in the Simpsons! I learned my lesson and will never touch another man's comic books! Oh, and Molecule Man sucks! Iron Man Dan

I did not begin reading comics until high school, but I was a Bat-fan. Not the Adam West show, though I did watch it. My Batman was the one from the animated series in the 90s. Dark and brooding.
