the red sox ARE the new Yankees (or as they'd say in Boston, the red sox aaaaahh the new yankees).
there no longer the "underdogs" because once the sox owner got some more money he spent it all to overpay the losers they have on there team, exactly like the yankees lol.
whenever you see a Red Sox fan and you try and talk baseball the first words that come out of there mouth is "Yankees suck" as opposed to a Yankees fan who loves their team even when they lose.

Can't believe the sox lost to toronto last night! did you see the game? there were about 12 people in the whole stadium! lol! so NY is 3 1/2 behind now, it's like the yanks won three games yesterday what with bostons embarrassing loss and a defeat for detroit. we're creeping up on you. like i said before, red sox are like lawn furniture, come october you fold em up and stick em in the cellar LOL
