To whoever started posting their childhood photos as avatars & those who are doing so...

I used to have my 11yo pic as my avatar, but I couldn't look at it without a lot of emotion coming up, so I replaced it with Lil' D. He's represents the boy that's been locked away inside for too long.

I'm sorry that you had to suffer the disappointment of doing something you thought would be a great surprise, only to be let down by your husband's reaction, or lack thereof.

I can so relate to how this probably made him feel, and how it probably made you feel too.

It is such a hard thing to live with, and sometimes being reminded in such a point blank way is even harder.
