at school on friday my teacher made a joke to the whole class. it freaked me out, but i dont know...sometimes i wonder if im being too sensative. maybe you guys could tell me what you think. this is what he said:
"what is a virgin?
...
...
...
an ugly 3rd grader."
so is it an innocent joke? or am i right to be freaked out?

i'd go to the priciple and tell him that your teacher made a comment about having sex with a third grader ,heh bet he dont tell that one again.

I changed the joke. It's probably a lot less funny this way, but at least now it's true. I need to get this straight. A high school teacher told this joke in class? This was totally inappropriate and uncalled for. Yeah, I think I'm going to agree with Adam. I think you should start by talking to a counsellor (if one is available) to see if that counsellor can help you talk to the principal. That, to me, is a pretty sick joke, and it's just wrong for a high school classrom.

As a person in a postition of trust, he made a huge mistake. He should be held accountable. I have worked in public education, and his comment is inappropriate - If you feel you can, i would let someone know as well. If you can't, then rest assured that you are NOT too sensative, you are right on target... the joke is sick.

Kurt, I'm a teacher and I wouldn't make that joke to ANY students of any age, and in fact not to anyone at all. It's sick, cruel and insensitive. No wonder you were freaked! My first thought is what's this asshole doing in front of students in a school?  Much love, Larry

If everyone laughed in the class, they're just really messed up to think something like that is funny. I'm sorry that this happened in your class. This is making me rethink going back to school.
