I know... funny, haven't had a drink in over 4 years, and sometimes hours go by that I don't think about it.... but not very often! Of course, I only drank with days with a "d" in their name. My strategy was to drink only on days with a "y" in their name. That helped me to stay consistent. L.

There's no reason to be mad at you!... and you may be drunk but you are NOT like him... couldn't be. We drink to not feel.... he gave you reasons to go away...to not feel... He was wrong, you are NOT. You are hurt and sad and that is ok...

This perhaps isn't the time to be plunging deeply into the questions you have, but just for the record I hope you can already see the point that your friends here are offering to you - that drinking isn't an answer for anything. But that too can wait for another day.

If I can make one suggestion...come back to this post another day when you aren't drinking. Though I barely know you, it hurts me to see you in such a state.
