i know i am a gay man, or identify gay however you wish to say it. maybe this is an 'universal' idea though - well ... for sure it is.

but in growing and seeking a partner - to put words to it -
what the 'why and wherefors' might be to finding one - like saying just 'chemistry' - it is not enough

to say that - it's youthful - and ok -

but - i think maybe a partner should help us - with life goals

i know for me -

a 'want' would be -
i would want my partner to help strengthen me - in spirit
as i grow - simply from being in touch with their
own spiritual path - and talking about life -
and health too through their own relationships with healthfulness - as i might do this too for him.

hopefully i would do this for him - just as i am happy in my path -

I think you're right. Regardless of our sexual identity what we need in life is someone to connect with at some deeper level - spiritual if you life. Some of the most special moments in my life have been with a partner where we can just look at each other and no words are needed - the look says it all. I wish you all the best in your efforts to find the person who can connect with you like this.
