A couple of guys came buy and looked at my jeep. It is a 1971 CJ-5 and is pretty much stock. I haven't driven it much in the last couple of years and decided to sell it. We puttered around and got it started and drove it around a little bit. needs some work but I am pretty sure they will buy it. If they buy it I'll buy a couple of kayaks, one for me and one for Vera, my wife.
It looks like my mocho man Jeepin' days are over. But life moves on.
Love ya Darrel

You guys have both got it wrong! You gotta have the jeep to get to the places where you can use the kayak most effectively!

John,
So true. I can't imagine my Dad's jeep without the roof rack on top for the canoe! Can't have one without the other!
Much love, Larry

Ah, but water can be too deep for a Jeep; whilst water is never too deep for a kayak. Ah!!!! But can a road ever be too shallow for a kayak? Sorry. I just suddenly needed to explore the philosophical aspects of this problem. Much musing, Larry

Indeed. We need a vehicle that can traverse both land and sea without trouble. We need... ... ...a SCUBA-diving pony.
