I LOOK INTO THE EYES OF THE MIRROR CHILD
WHO BLINKS NOT I
NOT I
THE MIRROR CHILD SMILES
SLOWLEY LOWERS HIS HEAD
EYES ARE ALL THATS LEFT
HE BLINKS HE BLINKS
HE CLOSES HIS EYE AND BOWS
I LOOK BEHIND ME
I SEE ALL THE LITTLE ONES
SMILIMG HOLDING OUT HANDS
I LOOK INTO THE MIRROR HE IS GONE
I LOOK BACK EYES HOLDING TEARS
YOU LITTLE ONES ARE STILL THERE
HANDS OPEN IN FRIENDSHIP

I AM LOVED
I AM HOME.

Your poem reminds me so much of my memories of myself as a little boy. I remember images like you post about, moments and clips of sentences too, but not really conversations - almost like watching an old silent movie.

Much love,
Larry
