all the redneck humor made me feel the desire to tell a story about a friend of mine.
I'm not too good at the insults, but I come from redneck central here. You tell a redneck joke, and I'll find someone who fits the stereotype. Hell, it might even be me!
At any rate, my buddy lived in a trailer down the street from me for about ten years. This guy is the epitome of a redneck. He's got a spiked mullet, a rusted out 1981 Chevy Pickup that has had the engine rebuilt like 5 times, a snowmobile trailer in the back, and even a Camaro up on cinder blocks. Yep. It needs a new tranny.
So, anyway, he inherited about $300,000 from an uncle a couple of years back, and I asked him what he was going to do with the money. His response?
"Well, I think I reckon to finally get that new tranny in the Camaro, the engine in the pickup is due for another rebuild, and I figure we should put an addition on the trailer and maybe even put it up on a foundation."
At that point in time, I decided it was time to move out of the trailer park.
Revenge is nothing more than another way of perpetuating abuse.
What the world needs now
Is some new words of wisdom
Like la la la la la la la la la.
Having a friend who will keep a secret for you is worthless compared to a friend who won't keep a secret from you.
