Call the cops? Kinda hard to do when one is 10yo, and the perp is either one's mother, or a kid of the same age, in the 70s.

Cameron,
I never told...not even myself for 35 years. My disassociation was so strong it took me 35 years to relize why I was cutting myself and acting plain crazy. In the nightmares and flashbacks that followed, I was little more than a zombie during the abuse...they could put me in whatever position they wanted, like a gi joe toy, and I would stay that way until they were done.
Tell?...not even myself!

its not a bad question it's a good question, it's just that everyone is different and from different situations, you have nothing to be sorry for.

Cameron,
It's not a bad question, and you have no reason to be sorry. I know a lot of people have asked you some uncomfortable questions in the other thread you started, and the important thing is that you don't need to share anything unless you feel comfortable doing so.
This takes a lot of courage, and you sound like a pretty cool guy. If you ever need to talk, you can send me a private message, or you can post on this forum. There are lots of guys here who have been in your shoes, and there are lots of guys here who are totally willing to help.
Bryan
