I did last year. It was sooooo cool. I was just amazed at all the things I felt.

Being curious, I put the $16.50 cost in 1965 into a website called the Inflation Calculator
(http://www.westegg.com/inflation/infl.cgi)

$16.50 in 1965 is equal to $103.65 in 2006 (the latest year they have available)

Another adjustment would then have to be made for liability insurance. :-)

Which has become a rather large portion of fees in a lot of these situations.

No, that's not something I have done yet, but it's on my agenda. I have wanted to deal with other issues and this one was pretty painful, since the Scout camp we always went to was the scene for so much of my abuse and many sad memories.

That said, I have been trying - with some success - to separate the abuse from Scouting as a whole, and that has decontaminated many of my memories of Scout trips and fun with friends.

Thanks - your post reminds me of some unfinished business!
