Rob took a fall today and was brought to the hospital via ambulance. He has really bad swelling on his back over his kidney. They are running tests as we speak.

Prayers would be appreciated!

just wanted to update everyone and let you know Rob has been released on a lot of pain meds I here but ok to come home.

The official diagnosis is bruised kidney. He is on heavy pain medication, but should be ok.

New rule! No one I know is allowed to be injured for the next 48 hours.....I need a breather!!! LOL

I kinda knew he'd OK, but thanx for the complete update.

I know how much that hurts-happend to me by my brother when I was 13. I was pissing blood for a few days, very painful.

Please won't you let him know that we all('least I do) want him to make a speedy recovery and let him know that We are praying for his safe recovery.

night before I left...

one of the kids left the faucet running after rob went up with them and put them to bed. Flooded the bathroom, into the hall, water damage on the first floor ceiling......

I am really ready for 2008. 2007 has been a rough year.

Starting to think a travel job is good for Rob's health. He is home a week, gets a bruised kidney and floods the house....LOL

Actually I started in Aerospace Engineering, simply because my Dad was an engineer and NASA was sending up astronauts. I really didn't know what I wanted to do and I was still pretty much wrecked by what had happened when I was younger. And guess what? I was in pre-law briefly after I abandoned engineering, but then discovered Arabic and Middle East history. Never looked back after that!

But still, "pre-mad" more or less sums it up. lol

I am home...happy to report the house is standing, I still have two children with appendages in tact.

However, there have been reports of dietary oddities (candy for breakfast) and delays in noctural activties (going to bed really late). I will have to investigate further.

And I am not going to look to close......LOL

So back to the doctor again...the area on his back is hard and REALLY swollen and there are huge purple splotches on his back...like blood blisters letting go, but the size of like 3 cds. He goes in at 230 to see what is up.

Whats the fun of having Daddy weekend without a little slacking? I let my daughter have ice cream for breakfast last week and she passed out on the couch at 1 am with me the week before...LOL
