Hey everybody, i just wanted to let you know ive been a little better lately, and im still here. My SSI check came and i'll be moving out as soon as i find a place. If you are unable to work, you should consider applying for disablity, it takes forever, (3 or 4 months) but they pay you from the day you applied. Well i wish myself and everybody else the best, I gotta go now.

hello Broken, and so nice to hear from you, and things are better. I have to somewhat disagree with what you stated about Social Security, and then agree with you. I do agree that it does take them for ever to pay what they owe you. I, am sure you have read on these pages,I was struck by a NYC subway train, so I appled to SSDI (social security disability insurance) for those who don't know, and WAS DENIED, wrote an appeal in the time they gave me, and DID get the money. They did go back to the date of the time I applied. IT ONLY TOOK THEM 14 MONTHS, but the check was EVER SO NICE. The thing I agree with you is also what I see with others - they HAVE SHORTENED the time they do pay one person. But all of this is extra, what is important is that you DID GET YOUR MONEY and things ARE looking up. Have a good holiday season. bosishere
