63 - You can wear boots, that way you don't have to match socks up.
64 - the day you wear boots, you will go into town and finally see a pair of shoes that you like after spending 6 months looking for them. You will try the shoes on & the assistant will wonder why you are wearing odd socks. You will also wonder why both odd socks now have holes in the toes that weren't there when you left the house.
65 - next time you think that there is a remote possibility of buying new shoes, you will wear a pair of socks that match, that don't have holes in the toes. You will cut your toe nails to make sure that the holes do not develop without you knowing. You will also carry enough cash to buy a pair of shoes, so that they will not know your name if you push the toes out of your socks after leaving home. *PS - I once took the p**s out of someone at school for having holey socks all the time - I think that is why I now have such big feet, and fast growing toe nails! Quid pro quo!
