WHEN I JOINED I TOO USED MY REAL NAME AT FIRST. I'D GRADUALLY GAINED A VOICE AROUND THESE ISSUES AND AM SOMEWHAT OF A CRUSADER ABOUT THESE ISSUES. I WANTED TO FLEX MY COURAGE AND NOT BE INTIMIDATED. THIS IS WHERE MY PASSION IS AT. SPEAKING MY TRUTH. I THEN DECIDED TO I COULD SPEAK A LITTLE MORE FREELY IF I HAD A CODE NAME. I'VE DECIDED IT WAS A PRUDENT DECISION. WHAT IF SOMEONE THAT KNEW ME PASSED OVER THESE PAGES. WHAT IF I NEVER TOLD THEM BECAUSE I DIDN'T TRUST THEM. WHAT IF THE REASON I DIDN'T TRUST THEM WAS WELL FOUNDED AND I DIDN'T PROTECT MYSELF. IT HAS BEEN POINTED OUT IN THE PAST THAT THIS PAGE HAS BEEN LINKED UP WITH SOME UNSAVORY PAGES. DO I WANT MY NAME THERE. AT THE SAME TIME SOME GOOD NURTURING HAS TAKEN PLACE HERE. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES FOR THE CHOICES I MAKE IN MY LIFE . CAN I LIVE WITH THEM IS A QUESTION I ASK MYSELF ALL THE TIME .
I'M TIRED NOW SO I THINK I'LL QUIT HERE.

I use a code name to, i guess. I would not want to use my real name for mostly the same reasons as u, RJD. but the name Blacken, actually describes me better than my real name ever could. Its an expression of how i feel & how the past has affected the present, & the forseeable future....

I use a nick, and at the same time it is real easy to figure out who i am, and i dont really worry about it, but thats me.

I think this is a good place, and like any other public place it is open to everyone, I think we all need to decide for ourselves how much infromation we are comfortable having out in the open, and for the very reasons you cite RJD, and i think we all can do that here, which i happen to like alot.

Staying safe is a good thing.
