Are you ready

Are you ready to go
Are you willing to stay
Are you willing to fight
Are you ready to stay or go

Iím lost today
Between I donít know
and I donít care
I am fighting now am I
I am giving up now am I
WellÖ I donít know

Are you ready for the battle
Are you willing to start a fight
Are you tired of always getting hurt
Are you willing to try and maybe lose

Iím tired of running
from my feelings
I want to have a life
without pain and fear
Is that so much to ask
Iím going to start the fight

I might win I might lose

Hi Xavier

Nice poem, I was really touched by it.
It's so describing how I can feel myself sometimes. The choice to flee or fight is always standing. But the ending of this poem really gives me energy to fight, even if I maybe lose the fight.
Did you wrote it?

I agree John!
It can be really confusing... and it definitely is a constant battle.

You lost the things that you thought you would never miss.
You let them out and miss them while they're gone
But there's memories down here and they will always live down here
No they can't take them away, so they won't

yup I did, John, thanks. \:\)

Rather laugh about what has been
Then fear what still comes, perhaps
Rather loving a big ghost
Then hating something that you canít see

You are gone, but closer then ever

Your determination to face your feelings and take up the fight is half the battle won already. Do you remember your fear when you first came here? You did it anyway. Or your anxiety at your first post? You did that too. Take it one step at a time; don't try for solutions all in a day and turn to your brothers here when it all seems to be too much.

Much love,

Nobody living can ever stop me
As I go walking my freedom highway.
Nobody living can make me turn back:
This land was made for you and me.
(Woody Guthrie)
