I hope this doesn't sound childish or stupid to you, but...do you have a stuffed animal? If not, hey, why not try that? Forget all the crap you have heard about stuffed animals being for girls, etc. LOTS of the guys here have them, including the mods, and they can be a great source of comfort and safety. Just a thought, bro.

That one made me smile! Every time I come back from Germany to Oxfordshire I bring back a purple dinosaur for Bruno. It's now got to the point that as soon as I step into the house he pounces on my bag trying to nose it open - he knows there's something in there for him!  Much love, Larry

You might be interested to know that John (Walking South) started a thread on the members' side last year on the subject of stuffed animals. You would be surprised at how many of us have them! Mine is a fantastic cuddly stuffed dog, other guys have bears, and so on. I think Scotty Todd told us once that he has lots of them in is office!
I was talking to a guy your age last year about this, and he felt he would be embarrassed if his friends saw he had a stuffed animal. So I told him fine, just keep it in your backpack then, and that's what he did. That bear went to school with him every day, and no one was the wiser!
