“Love Me Love Me” By: Kirk Gilbert © 2005
Love me; love me to know this mask I put up before us. Unknown am I unto yea as to me as I play in this dreamy drama I live within. I walk in shadows of light in a world not meant for me. I see my mask as a reflection within this quantum leap that I see in the mind of a mirror. Frightened of the broken shards of glass of the hiatus face behind this mask that is so fake and afraid someone may see the real person inside. This soul of fields of flowers in a dreamy state of consciousness can bring one to tears of dreams. So beautiful within and a mask worn, torn, and weathered to see fields of bright yellow, green, and white is thee before yea. Up in smoke is the soul within my heart in a mental state is worthlessness as the thought of the mind. Walking in the mist of life in fear of the loss of a mask I struggle to remove every second of my life.
"I will never forget, nor shall I choose too remember."
