My favorite all time movie is "Field of Dreams" The one with Kevin Costner. The best part of the movie is when Kevin looks at the baseball dude and says "dad, how about a catch?". I have seen that movie like 10 times and it makes me cry every time. That movie is a kind of catharsis for guys who want to connect with their fathers, but cannot because their dads are dead

i was just about to do a comedic entry here -
i will - but it's not as funny -
when i 'came out' into West Hollywood -
the Sixth Sense had recently been in theatres (relatively speaking)
I was chatting to someone - and I saw a straight couple go by ....
i seized. "..... I see straight people.."
jk lol
- it was silliness of gay blalalaa

I have used a variation on that many times "I see dumb people" I liked the Sixth Sense very much

Mark,
I have to say, this may be the dumbest place to make my first comment, but here I go.
My favorite movies are "Breakfast Club" and "Shawshank Redemption". Both of these movies feature unexpected friendships, and for that reason, they top my list.

I agree with you Scout, at least where "Shawshank redemption" is concerned stunning ending, and great acting by some top notch actors.
BTW, Welcome to MaleSurvivor. There is not dumb place to make your first post, Friend. The place you made it was perfect!
