My own music...

I wrote and recorded this. It's not exactly amazing, and I can't sing, but it's basically a song about how I feel and how I cope (or not) with stuff... It's called "I wish I could turn back time". You can get it from here. EDIT: Try this link if the other won't work; it's to an intermediate page that you have to wait 30 seconds on but it should work. I don't think there's anything that could trigger something in anyone - there's nothing explicit in it about anything that's happened, it's all about the present. If anyone else can get something from this then that's cool, I guess I just wanted to express something that I feel unable to do by talking. Does anyone else have anything they've done?

I do, but I don't yet have a good link to post. Only 1 person can get it at a time.
Coming soon....

Lantern,
I tried the link this morning but it said the page could not be found.

That's weird; it works for me. I'm using Firefox but I don't think it should really make a difference. Did you try right-clicking the link and choosing "Save as..."? Might be for the best anyway

I got an error saying the page could not be found when clicking on it. When I tried to do save as, it gave an error that way, too.

I think this link should work if the other won't.

That's cool, Lantern, I was able to get to it with the above link. You are definately talented, that's for sure. Very well done. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I've written some instrumental pieces, but that's it. I can't sing worth a flip, so all my stuff is just instrumentals.

Thanks EGL, I can't sing worth a flip either and I think I might try just instrumentals!
Have you ever recorded anything?

Have you ever recorded anything? Here's something I wrote about 20 years ago as a tribute to my best friend's daughter when she was born. She wants to use it in her wedding next month. http://schhs.homestead.com/files/Laura.mp3

Thanks for the kind words cpt confusion! I have some other ideas that I want to play around with. Mainly I enjoy making music because it's a form of expression I'm actually comfortable with (well, the guitar bits anyway).
If you do get anything down, just let me know if you need any guitar help cos I'm happy to help if you wanted me to.
EGL: that's a nice tune! You must be stoked she wants to use it at her wedding, that's really sweet of her.
