109. The ice over the creek swimming hole isn't nearly as thick as you think it is.

110. The water under the ice is much colder than you think it is.

111. Mothers are never happy when you go swimming in your church clothes in the middle of the winter.

112. Swimming in a creek on private proerty that is not yours is a bad idea.

113. Ttempting to out run a very pissed off land owner, wet and in your underwear, can end badly.

114. Attempting to jump a chainlink fence in your underwear can lead to severe groin pain.

115. Never let go of the bar on the mousetrap before it is really set!

116. Tearing your pants while climbing a tree in your church clothes doesn't get you out of going to church.

117. The turtle you caught in the creek and were keeping in a bucket can make it back to the creek before you if your little brother gives it a two-hour head start.

118. Never ask your dad what that word he just said means.

119. If you must ask him, just don't repeat the word when you ask.

120. An electric motor that is made to run off battery will not go really fast if you try to plug it into a wall socket.

121. Never test wires with your tongue.

122. Never take anything apart without talking to a parent, they get really mad when you have disassembled the VCR in an attempt to "fix" it.

123. Crying and making sad faces while blaming your older sibling works most of the time.

Brian,

I tried #121 myself, once. It really was a bad idea.

124. Doing any of these things we're talking about not doing is much funnier 30 years later.

An addon to #119.

126. When Mom asks you where you heard that word, don't say Dad.
