Dear Mods,

There's a therapist-led support group for gay male survivors in the formation stages where I live, but we need one or two more participants to launch. Back in the early 1990s, I was a client of the T organizing the group, and he's still in practice at the same location and I know some other folk seeing him (about what issues, I do not know), so everything seems legit to me. I've also reviewed his qualifications with my most recent T (last visit 18 months ago, and she was the first one I actually dealt with SA issues with) and she says this guy's done his homework.

I'd like to post an announcement, but not sure of the protocol. I've got the T's permission to post his name & work phone number. How should I proceed ?

Please place an ad in the classified section repeating the information above. Ask anyone interested to PM you, and then you give them the information.

If the T really wants his name and number out there, he can contact admin@malesurvivor.org about listing his name as one of the therapists on the "Find a Therapist" page.
