If at first you don't succeed... destroy the evidence!
OR
If at first you don't succeed... find someone else to blame!

That acquiring a head injury from doing something stupid that you might get in trouble for is NOT something to keep from your parents!

Ok, JLS.
I wanted to post this yesterday, but didn't get to it since I had a flat tire.
As a young boy, and a liar, my thoughts would have been that having a head injury provided me the perfect opportunity to say, "Gee, Mom, I forget what I was doing, but my head sure does hurt bad!"

Lol. For us (meaning me and my friends) we didn't want evidence of doing something we shouldn't have so my receiving an injury kinda foiled that plan:)

Don't try to get away with ANYTHING when you're growing up in a military family. No matter what you do, Pop will ALWAYS find out!
Especially if it involves a girl! Ouch!

We had someone else living there I've never seen before named "Not Me".

Building a tree fort with my best friend is significantly more rewarding than doing my math homework : )

When walked on the sideway, keep your head up and look in the direction you are walking...for when you don't, a sign will magically appear out of no where and scare the hell of you when you walk into it...
P.S. I forgot to warn my son about this discovery and well...last week while downtown, we were walked around a corner, he turned to tell me something and walked right into a sign. No injuries, just a bit of embarrassment on his part.
