Yep.............

Kind of sad. The only way to be middle class now is if you can make it through 4 or 6 years of college. But hell, what do I know?

I won't EVER buy a rice-burner!

I've had 3 cars in the last 20 years..........all Fords

77' LTD

93' Escort

98' Escort

They were GREAT cars. I'm still driving my 98' Escort! \:\)

No comment on the LTD.

93 Escort is a good ride. I like the rally styling on the older Escorts.

The 98 Escort is an awesome car and it is one of the best that Ford ever made. That little 2.0 Duratec 4 cyl is a sweet engine too. Loves to rev up. You got a 5 speed?

Fun car. Too bad they killed it with the crappy Focus.

I drive an '04 Mazda6. Made in Flat Rock, Michigan. Best-built car I have driven, and I have driven some very nice cars.

I try to buy Michigan or Canada built cars if I can, especially Michigan because they need all the help they can get.

I just had an 86 Tempo decide to commit suicide. Everything went wrong at once; I must've had at least $300 worth of brand- or close-to-new parts on that thing when I finally gave up and junked it.

Now I got a Dodge Daytona!

I think you should get a medal for getting a Tempo to survive for 20 years!
The Daytona was a good car, especially with the Turbo. Did you get one of the talking ones?

My last car was a VW Jetta GSX fully loaded 6 cylinder 5 speed luxury Sedan. I loved it!

Then I gave up driving all together about two years ago except in extreme emergency. I use public transport, bicycle, walking or the occasional taxi-cab.

My life has improved 100 fold ever since. I found that most everything I need is within walking distance and I have plenty of options should I need something beyond reach. I have reduced my stress by over half what it used to be!

The adjustment was difficult at first (for the first year) then it just blended together. The money I have saved was enough for me to totally remodel and upgrade my home with plenty left over!

My dog loves it because he goes most places with me now and believe it or not, just by walking I am able to pay more attention to the beauty that occurs between point A and Point B.

Life is much better without combustion!
