Hey, Guys --

My CAT scan about the appendix is tomorrow. Basically, this is where they find out how much I've healed on my own and decide what to do next (anything from nothing to serious surgery). I didn't think I'd be this scared, but it's getting to me. They're not going to whisk me into surgery or anything tomorrow, but I'm imagining all kinds of unrealistic bad news.

This kind of surgery usually is done arthroscopically today and should not be too complicated if that's what you end up needing. Here's hoping you don't need any surgery at all!! Best of luck!

I wish to you good luck. I know that for me, anything, to be sick or injured, anything that make me feel I am 'weaker' at all, it is frightening to me. I think it is not uncommen that you have fear of this, and I wish to you good.

Thanks for all your support--it really helped! The CAT scan went fine this morning--no panic, cool nurse... No results yet, but that'll be in a few days.
