I've been corresponding with a woman in Texas for a few weeks. She has such a nice personality, and I've seen a couple pics of her on a singles site. I got a nice laugh out of her email back to me this evening. And a couple real big laughs out of the following two bits:

Talking about feeling young at heart, she says..

" Do you still feel years and years and years younger than your
physical age?"

I was like Boy-howdy! One day I might have the opportunity to tell her I'm an 11yo stuck in a 40-something body.

**

When I wrote back, I told her I waited a few days cuz I was in a foul mood.

"So, you're admitting some of your faults, huh? Mr. Grumpy?? hahaha
just kidding. "

I was like you don't know the half of it darlin'! lol! If I admit too much I'm liable to send her running off screaming into the night!

Anyway, I'm enjoying our emails, so we'll just see where things go.

FT,

That's great you've been able to connect with her. You're talking about a foreign country for me, of course. There was no Internet the last time I was single and available! I just hope you two continue to explore the things you have in coomon, and I hope this works out for you. She sounds like a lot of fun.

Much love,
Larry

PS: Have you seen Kathryn's post to you in F&F?

FT,
That is awesome man! This is definitely a time in our world where distance doesn't mean much.

I hope things continue to evolve well between the two of you!

You deserve good things!

Just as a word of encouragement. I met my BF online and it has been a great experience so far. We are miles away but chat every day and phone and email and visit a few times a year. We both have jobs and kids that make moving a problem but for now it fills the needs we have.

So good luck to you!

Maggie

That's great, FT, glad you have someone like this that you can just be cool with. And I know what you mean about the 11-year-old stuck in the 40-something body -- sometimes I feel like I'm still here myself.

Cool Beans! Hope this develops into something you both need.

Hugs,

John
