Peter Mulvey rocks, and I will bet almost none of you have ever heard of him. He's a Boston based singer songwriter, a killer guitarist with the most overwhelmingly lyrical lyrics. I can't recommend this guy enough (and no, for the record, I don't know him, am not related to him, nor sadly have I ever seen him play live).
During Napa I kept hearing his song "Midwife" playing over and over again in my head. It became my theme song for the whole trip.
"I am not a mechanism, an assembly of various sections.
And it is not because the mechanism is working wrongly, that I am ill.
I am ill because of wounds to the soul, to the deep emotional self...."
