Are all Americans really closet Canadians?

They all seem to have affinity with the Maple Leaf, Moose of various kinds and practically bathe in Maple Syrup.

Canadians are much nicer than Americans ( stereotypically speaking)

So, come on Canada, give out free passports to all US citizens.

No slam meant to Canadians at all, but the only time I like the Maple leaf is when it's on one side of their silver bullion coins.

We keep the continent safe, lol. Other wise it would have been bombed to shiznit awhile ago. And who in there right mind would want to bomb canadians. Its like Mike Tyson throwing a punch at that napolean dynomite kid. Plus having the worlds largest supply of natural forestry resources, the top third largest deposit of crude oil and the most and largest bodies of fresh water and our hydo plants are a further insentitive.

Ontario practicly is american anyway.

Its funny how a country geographicly only smaller then Russia with a 33M population of which 70% lines the boarders and the US with a 200M population and a industrialized and built up country have so many problems with each other. I blame bush, celin dion, ignorace and a small village in nova scotia with a population of 200 who say aboot which led to the steriotype.

Well, considering the fact that I like Rush, BareNaked Ladies (the band and the ladies themselves!), and Bruce Cockburn, I guess I can begrudgingly say that Canadian's aren't all half bad.

Aren't all Americans and Canadians from the same continent originally - Europe, so brethren.

Originally we are all from africa and probably asia. The US and canada are new nations and a melting pot of immagration from all over the world. Not just europe. I'm more native american then anything else. So part of me originally was here.

We are the same geneticlly. But come from different people with different beliefs and ethics. We are sperated by belief systems and geographiclly spicific accents. Odd.

No, WE are not asian. We are native american. But we all as human beings can trace our bloodlines back to a people. And it's half and half. Half believe they came from north america, the other believe the scientists that say N-american natives migrated from sibera about 30-35K years ago.

my apologies jamie'. I was unaware that there was an indigineous people in this hemishpere. I had been taught that all human presence on this continent was of a migratory origin.

So was I. But you cant just blanket a people as asian. Depending upon which theory you believe there's a possibility we all evolved from a group of apes in Africa. Or a couple groups in africa and a group in asia.

But alot of native folk believe they evolved right here in north america. And are native to this continent. They havent exactly been proven wrong. So i say let people believe what they will.

Being born in Japan, I joke and tell folks I'm Asian-American. One guy said to me "you don't look it." when I asked what that means, it stopped him cold in his tracks.
