Isn't it odd that most people define themselves by the occupation they practice (ie. carpenter, lawyer, athlete) but if you have a particular sexual preference, you include that in your identity. You are not a carpenter but 'a gay carpenter' or a 'gay athlete', etc. What people do in the their relationships is mostly how they express who they are. Very rarely does someone say there goes a straight carpenter. Is that so important to a "healthy person" or "a healthy society"??
