I spoke to Kirks wife again this morning and he has made some progress, he has regained some movement in his bad side, being able to move 1 foot again and can express YES and NO verbally although its a struggle.

Basically there are 2 types of stroke, a bleeding stroke or a blockage stroke. Kirk has had a blockage stroke so they expect some permanent brain damage.

The prognosis is however not too bad. The doctors say as he is making progress, thats likely to continue with the good parts of Kirks brain compensating for the damaged part.

His wife said "He will be back" even if he has to use his other hand to type with on its own.

That said it may be a few months before he is back.....

He still needs your support and prayers.
