Some members like the new layout, and others would love the simplicity of the old boards.
It takes me ages to adjust to new formats, and I guess others have the same idea judging by the lack of posting.

My biggest criticism is the dark blue banner, which was better when it was powder blue, it is too dark and foreboding.
C'mon guys an easy thing to change.

I hope the other guys can find their way around, but change is always a big thing in this type of forum,

My first impression isn't that great either, but I'm going to keep quiet until they have the bugs worked out. I agree on the colours though. Too gloomy.

I love this format. It is more like what I am used to.

ok, i know this is the guys' side of the forum, but considering the topic, which is not on fnf's side -

i find this style very difficult to view, the other style was better because you could see all the replies at once, here is more difficult

also the columns on the left side are taking up too much space, limiting the viewing area.

as for the colors, yes, the old colors were also easier on the eye for some reason, the dirty-water color yellow w/murky blue font is really hard to read. the dark blue at the top just doesn't do anything positive for the website either i think.

The old one was more... clear i guess, easier to view.
This seems more.. busy, there's so much to see.
The old one was easier to oversee.
But, we get used to it soon enough and probably then it wont matter much anymore.
Atm i still like the old one better.

I think it's great. Big improvement over the previous forum. It looks more like a real forum now.

All things considered, I really like the new format. Great job guys.

I agree with Dewey that the new post indicators need to be a good deal more visible. Other than that, I like it. We'll see how it goes as I start using it more.

you can turn off the left column if you prefer.

Go to "my stuff", "my preferences", and answer yes or not to the question "turn off left column"
